Longton Public Library

Longton Public Library proudly serves patrons of Longton and surrounding areas in Elk County.  We offer books in all genres, 5 computers for patrons use all with high speed internet and we are a Wi-Fi hotspot.  We have DVD and VHS movies available to be borrowed.  We are offering special programs and services to the community, so check our site frequently, new information will be posted on the “Home” tab above.  Currently we have the following available:

Do you need help a job search, preparing a resume?  Would you like to learn basic computer skills and how to email?  How about learning to use eBay.  Just call today and let Jolie know you’d what you’d like to learn and she’ll work out a time with you for personal lessons, or a class lesson if enough are interested.

DO YOU LIKE TO READ?  EVER WANT TO SHARE THE STORY WITH SOMEBODY?  Then call today about one of our upcoming book clubs.  We are hoping to start a Teen Book Club, an Adult Book Club and a Christian Book Club.  If there is any interest in these or any other type of bookclub please let me know.

Looking for a special book, or movie?  Ask Us!!  REMEMBER – IF WE DON’T HAVE IT, WE CAN ORDER IT FROM INTER-LIBRARY LOAN OR IN SOME CASES WE WILL PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS!

We are always interest in your tax-deductible donations of books or movies in good to great condition!  We also always take tax-deductible cash donations.  Please help support your local library, we appreciate your support and it allows us to improve library services and offer new programs.

The Library Board Meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 5PM at the library.
