We are having a good response to our reading  contest from our children.  We have two children who have already exceeded twenty books each.

We have a baby quilt display and will have for the next few weeks.  Joyce Edwards was nice enough to show some of her quilts.  Thank you Joyce. She has also made a wall hanger with the name of our library on it, and it looks great.  Yea!!!!

Don’t Miss CNN’s article about librarys,”online relief for the recession-weary”. Here is an excert of that article, “Whenever you have tough economic times, public libraries are a place people go because they have no other alternatives or because they know they are going to get the powerful information that will make a difference in their lives,” said Kristin McDonough, director of the Science, Industry and Business Library in New York City.
