SEPTEMBER LIBRARY NEWS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It has been an exciting month at the Longton Library and we are expecting even more fun starting in September.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PARENTS<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All parents of young children need to mark their calendar for Saturday, September 19th<\/sup><\/strong> for\u00c2\u00a0our new\u00c2\u00a0Story Hour,\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>we will be reading to children ages 3 through Kindergarten from 10 AM<\/strong> to <\/strong>11 AM<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Snacks will also be provided.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Bring your wee ones down to hear some great stories!<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW BOOKS<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have a LOT of books that were donated to the library in August, so make sure you come check out our new books section as we will be rotating in the new ones.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Also remember, if we don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a book or author you are looking for WE CAN GET IT \u00e2\u20ac\u201c ask us about the interlibrary loan \u00e2\u20ac\u201c we will be glad to assist you.<\/span><\/p>\n

JOB SEEKING AND RESUME SERVICES<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Also \u00e2\u20ac\u201c if you are a job seeker, as so many are these days, we have a listing of Job Search Sites posted throughout the library.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>We are also offering job search assistance, including preparing your resume on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 AM to noon.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>If you need help in job searching or resume preparation and cannot make it at these times, please give Jolie a call at 642-6012 and we will be happy to set a time that is more convenient for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW HOURS STARTING IN SEPTEMBER<\/strong>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Monday \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Friday every week 10 AM to noon & 1 PM to 5 PM<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will also start being open every other Saturday morning and every other Wednesday Evening.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>This month those dates are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Open <\/strong>9 AM \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 1 PM<\/strong> on Saturday, September 5th<\/sup> & Saturday, September 19th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Open until <\/strong>7 PM<\/strong> on Wednesday, September 9th<\/sup> and Wednesday, September 23rd<\/sup><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will be closed all day on September 24th<\/sup> for an out of town in service workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n
